I haven’t been on the site in a while. Ever buy a new shiny thing then put it down, maybe forget about it? Well, that’s what I did here.
See, when I started arlo.studio all those years ago (THREE), I had intention and that intention burned low and slow, and I tried to figure out the spaces where arlo fit in my life and in my philosophy. Over the last three years, I hosted a few workshops, met with a few clients, and that’s about it. Life got in the way, work got in the way, my own ego and sometimes lack thereof got in the way.
It’s a hard reckoning, that last one.
But I found myself from time to time coming back to this space to look at the date getting further and further from the present. As I write this, I’m still a work in progress, making decisions, sitting in the space, and not quite sure how to decorate this new, yet old, house.
Here’s what I do know:
Life is short.
All I have to do is move.
I am creative in more than one way.
I have time.
That’s all. It’s quite simple.
So I anticipate that here I’ll be contributing a little more to help vent what’s pent up as well as give you an insight into what I’ve been working on and want to work on.
